What to eat with it
Which wine goes with sushi?
Floral and fresh, with enough acidity for the rice and the oily fish. Varna's own pick for sushi.
Which wine goes with smoked fish?
The freshness cuts through the fat and smoke of salmon or mackerel; the Moscatel adds something floral.
Which wine goes with goat cheese?
Fresh meets fresh: the wine keeps the creamy tang of young goat cheese lively rather than flat.
Which wine goes with fish?
For delicate fish — cod, sea bass, baked fish. Fresh enough not to overpower it.
Which wine makes a good aperitif?
Dry, light and floral: a wine that opens the appetite instead of filling it.
Why Varna and Nelson chose this
Why we chose this
Varna: “This was the bestseller in my shop. People came back especially for it. My house white — and at this price nothing comes close.”
